Near Beit Shean is a small canyon alongside an ancient Roman bridge that's still in use today.

In the summer the stream that passes through is pretty small and the area is dry.

But in the winter, it surges and over time has created a deep canyon.

It's a beautiful area and a great place to go for a small hike or to relax near the stream.

If you look closely, you can find some interesting flowers and animals.

In the Fall there are millions are birds that pass by on their way to the southern hemisphere.

When I was there, I was surprised to see how many birds there are.

Everywhere I looked I found more

I mostly saw storks and hawks when I was there.

We plan to come back in the winter to see how big the waterfalls get and how green the area becomes.
